They could have been the year’s blockbusters.

The Dark Tower

In contrast with It, another adaptation of Stephen King novel released in 2017, The Dark Tower has been a disappointment. Despite raking in $111 million worldwide against a $60 million budget, and starring two of the world’s leading actors Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey, the film is still considered a flop because of the high expectations that critics had for it.

Battle of the Sexes
